- Course objectives
- The aim of the online phase is to get to know the Czech school system. The focus is on the special features of individual types of schools (target group, curricula, graduation, opportunities in professional life), alternative education options and social benefits in individual types of institutions. During the attendance phase, classroom observations and teaching internships will be carried out at various Czech schools in Opava, Ostrava and the surrounding area. A lot of space will also be devoted to discussion on this topic, discussing similarities, differences, pros and cons of all three school systems.

- Knowledge of the school system in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic, expansion of language skills.

- 1. Online phase Lecture on the topic of ‘The Czech school system’ 2. Face-to-face phase 1) Lecture and workshop: ‘Three countries – three school systems?’ – The German school system 2) Lecture and workshop: ‘Three countries – three school systems?’ - The Polish school system 3) Discussion on the topic 4) Observation of lessons at various Czech schools in Opava, Ostrava and the surrounding area 5) Teaching internship at various Czech schools in Opava, Ostrava and the surrounding area 6) Workshop: ‘What would an ideal school system look like?’ 7) Final discussion and evaluation
