Course objectives
The course contains basic topics in the field of functional and formal morphology. The mutual conditionality of linguistic phenomena is emphasized (relation to phonetics and phonology, syntax, to textological disciplines). Knowledge is derived and practiced through current written and spoken texts. Work with CNK is included in the teaching. The aim of the course is to equip students with basic knowledge of morphology so that they are able to describe, assess and possibly modify words and word forms in the interest of the type of text.
Learning outcomes
Exam (written part + oral). The written part of the exam is a seminar work, in which the student demonstrates the ability to create a professional text. Emphasis will be placed on the composition of the text, on the ability to apply procedures ensuring the coherence and cohesion of the text. The student demonstrates the ability to work with other professional texts and demonstrates their own styling skills corresponding to the requirements for a professional style text.
