Course objectives
The seminar and lectures should deepen knowledge of the Czech literary history and provide more detailed overview of the Czech medieval, renaissance and baroque literature.
Learning outcomes
Students will be familiar with multilingual concept of the Old Czech literature. Another learning aims:
Students are able to characterise older literary eras, styles or poetic traditions and the representative literary works;
they will know genre system of Old Czech literature;
they will able to characterize the canonical literary works written in Old Church Slavonic, Latin, German and Czech.

Assessment methods
Presentation of paper (homework). The final test (it consists of 12 questions, 8 correct answers is needed to pass).
