- Course objectives
- The course is dedicated to the influence of Italian cultural traditions on European culture since the 13th century. The seminar completes the knowledge achieved in the course called Italian history and culture. It presents the most important personalities in the fields of art, architecture and music. The course is divided in two semesters.
- Learning outcomes
- The studetns have a general knowledge about the influence of Italian culture in Europe. They are able the write an essay or a paper on a cultural topic.
- Syllabus
- 1. Introduzione: storia e geografia dell’emigrazione intellettuale italiana. 2.-3. Rassegna di intellettuali italiani all’estero. 4. Gli studenti presentano il tema della tesina e il perché della scelta. 5.–12. Letture di testi pertinenti alle tesine in preparazione. 13. Conclusione e ricapitolazione del seminario.
