Cílem výuky je představit studentům metodické základy a cíle textové lingvistiky a názorně ukázat, jak se textová lingvistika může uplatňovat jak při gramatických, tak při stylistických analýzách, a to převážně z hlediska funkčního. Student získá teoretický přehled o oblasti textové lingvistiky, který pak bude aplikovat na textových typech Sylabus: 1. Nauka o textu, text, relevantní disciplíny, metody 2. Textualita I: Koheze, koherence, intencionalita, akceptabilita 3. Textualita II: informativnost, situativnost, intertextualita 4. Struktura textu I: Mikrostruktury a makrostruktury 5. Struktura textu II: Funkční větná perspektiva 6. Textová gramatika I: Pronominální napojení 7. Textová gramatika II: Tempus 8. Textová gramatika III: Člen 9. Text I: Faktory interpretace textu 10. Text II: Quaestio-model 11. Textové druhy I: Kulturní kritéria 12.
