Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the methodological basis and objectives of text linguistics and demonstrate how text linguistics can be applied when performing grammatical and stylistic analyses. Students acquire an overview of the methods of text linguistics which they will apply on various text types.

    3. Textuality II: informativity, situationality, intertextuality
    4. Text structure I: Microstructures and macrostructures
    5. Text structure II: Functional Sentence Perspective
    6. Textual grammar I: Pronominal reference
    7. Textual grammar II: Tempus
    8. Textual grammar III: Article
    9. Text I: Factors of text interpretation
    10. Text II: Quaestio-model
    11. Text types I: Cultural criteria
    12. Text types II: Structural criteria
