- Course objectives
- The second semester of the Italian literature in film course concentrates on the 20th century literary works that have been adapted into a movie. Two seminars are dedicated to each literary work and its movie adaptation. In the first seminar the film is shown. The students are supposed to look up some information about the author and read an assigned passage from his/her work for the following week. In the following lesson the relation between the film and the literary work is discussed and the text analysed. This course completes the Italian literature 4 course. Contents: 1.-3. Il giorno della civetta (Leonardo Sciascia, Il giorno della civetta) regia di Giovanni Amelio 10.-12. La noia (Alberto Moravia, La noia) regia di Ettore Scola
