- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen and strengthen all the language skills as well as to master the grammatical structures of the language. The students will improve oral and written forms of the language with the professional content as well as pronunciation, listening, understanding and ability to participate in a dialogue within the frame of a given professional topic. Emphasis will be put on the appropriate choice of language means, on a wider usage of professional language in different situations and on correct performance. The students will also enrich their vocabulary with professional terminology from the area of tourism.

- 1. Expressing future intentions - going to a will. Verb patterns 1. Hot verbs. Plans and ambitions. Expressing feelings and mood.
2. Comparative and superlative adjectives. What is it like? / What does it look like? Talking about towns. Money words. Synonyms and antonyms. Comparison. Directions. Relative clauses 1. Describing a place.
3. Present Perfect and past Simple. Prepositions since and for. Tense revision. Past participles. Adverbs. Word pairs. Short answers. Relative clauses 2. Writing a biography. Interview.
4. Modal verbs have to, should, and must. Jobs. Travelling abroad. Words that go together. Compound nouns. Holidays in January. At the doctor's. Writing formal letters.
