- Course objectives
- The course deals with the periodization and trends in the German literature in the second half of the 20th century, Attention will be paid specifically to the history of German literature in both independent German states in the period from 1945-49 to 1989-90. The most significant authors and literary genres in the aforementioned time period in both German states will be covered. The seminars will be based on the topics covered in the lectured. The focus of the seminars will be on selected literary works. This analysis will be realized on the basis of student reading. Authentic materials will be used.
