Course objectives
One-semester lecture course provides students with basic knowledge of prehistory Silesia from the Lower Paleolithic until fortified settlement. It discusses the nature of the natural environment and the general specifics of prehistoric development, research history and current state of knowledge with emphasis on Czech Silesia. In conclusion, the primordial development in Silesia as a whole, Czech and Polish parts incorporated into the context of the development of Central Europe.
