Course objectives
One-semester lecture course provides students with basic knowledge of prehistory Czech Silesia from the Lower Paleolithic until the hillfort. It discusses the nature of the environment and the general specifics of prehistoric development, research history and current state of knowledge (detailed in individual epochs). At the end of the prehistoric development in Czech Silesia integrated into the context of the development of Upper Silesia as a whole (Czech and Polish parts) and Central Europe.
