Course objectives
The aim of the Psychology of acting is to provide students with a basic knowledge of selected topics in the psychology of acting. At the end of the course students should be able to define the basic principles and techniques of acting schools. Acting is primarily matter of the subject. The sources of inspiration of staging and searching performing art forms will be defined during the course.

Teacher's information
1. Participation on lectures.
2. The basic orientation in the prescribed required literature/publications.
3. Evaluation of the given tasks (presentations, reading journals, discussion paper) and a Final Essay.
4. Final oral/written exam. Students will choose a play character and they will analyse its psychological profile.
