Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the students with orientation in fundamental matters concerning contemporary Britain. The focus will be on the subject competency, ability to discuss specialized topics linked to British life and institutions, development of critical thinking and motivation of the students for further self-education in the given field. Special attention will be paid to confrontation of British and Czech life and institutions.
