Course objectives
The goal of this course is to present students a brief analytical overview of Czech and world literature
Syllabus
  • The lectures outline the basic directions of Czech and world literature, including kthe ey leaders and their major works.
    Literary and film works have many common structural elements, literary texts are often the starting point and inspiration for film work. Students will analyze the major works of Czech and world literature in the lectures with a focus on style of displaying, the construction of literery works, genre characteristics, the narrative line, characters and poetics.
