Course objectives
The aim of Practical Language Skills 3 is a further improvement of all language competences gained in the preceding courses. Students will do communicative tasks using authentic text materials and the Ziel textbook. Various texts written by native speakers (e.g. newspaper, Internet, fiction) will be discussed. Listening exercises produced by natives are also a part of the classes. The aim is to avoid typical mistakes of Czechs learning German and to unify the languages competences of all participating students. Self-study is also an inherent part of the classes and one of the prerequisites aiming at gaining self-confidence in the foreign language. Discussion and communicative techniques are taught.
