- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to explain basic business structures and processes in connection with the use of IS / IT in various fields of business activities. Students will become familiar with the types of business information systems and their importance for the functioning of the company. The content of practice time is based on the content of lectures.

- 1. Information society, the concept of information and informatics.
2. Information systems and technology, characteristics and classification.
3. Establishment of the information society, functional areas in the company structure, information needs and information flows, the importance of IS / IT for the adaptability of the enterprise in a competitive environment.
4. The concept of strategic information systems, enterprise information strategy - its formation, planning and implementation.
5. Information management - development and current understanding of the term.
6. Business Information Systems - ERP, SCM, CRM.
7. Business Information Systems - ECM, e-Business.
