Course objectives
The aim of the lectures is to present the basic development and current state in the areas of obtaining and building information funds, including its classification and other specifications. It includes acquaintance with the current state of cataloging theory, valid standards and outlining a set of knowledge important for mastering the input processing of documents and quality replenishment of information funds. The content of the exercise is based on and follows the substance of the lecture Supplementing and processing the library collection I.
Learning outcomes
Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- shrnout základní metody a postupy akvizice dokumentů v knihovnách;
- určit a popsat způsoby získávání knihovních materiálů;
- vyhledat a využít moderní metody zpracování dokumentů v knihovnách;
- prakticky aplikovat způsoby vstupního zpracování dokumentů.
