Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with specific problems that a translator may encounter in his work. The course is designed as a seminar in which students will be able to try different translation techniques. Attention is paid to the translation of official documents and professional texts, as well as the translation of literary texts.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to translate a medium-difficult professional and literary text from German into Czech and from Czech into German.
