Course objectives
Prepare students to select a theme for their diploma work and its elaboration. The scope of bachelor seminar is advising of information and rules for the preparing of bachelor diploma work. There are also consultations with lecturers to the state examination. Great part is self individual elaboration of the bachelor work.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- formulate a hypotheses and thesis objectives and write academic text,
- choose appropriate methods of solution,
- follow the citation style guides for published and unpublished sources,
- formulate conclusions of the diploma thesis and prepare arguments for the defens. Write academic text.

  • 1. Selection of bacelor diploma work theme. Criteria for selecting.
  • 2. Elaboration of bachelor work proposal.
  • 3. Informations and rules for the preparing of bachelor diploma work.
  • 4. Working with subject literature, citations, references. Bibliography.
  • 5. Metodology. Academic ethics.
  • 6. Professional style and its specifics.
  • 7. Text structure.
  • 8. Lay-out, graphics and other formal proposals.
  • 9. Individual preparation of bachelor diploma thesis, consulting with their supervisor.
