Course objectives
The Practical Exercises program is designed to enable students to systematically develop all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) together with the Writing Practice subject. For this reason, in addition to the Czech textbook, Italian textbooks and exercise books are also used. The contents of the exercises are mainly focused on deepening the basic knowledge of Italian grammar and expanding the vocabulary. Listening to recordings of native speakers and reading simple texts related to everyday life develop the listeners' ability to understand (written) spoken and written speech and are the basis for written and conversational exercises on well-known topics.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- describe and use Italian grammar rules;
- understand a listened text;
- write simple texts correctly;
- talk about everyday life issues.
