- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Physical Diagnostic Methods (programme FU, APFYZB)
- Environmental Monitoring (programme FU, APFYZB)
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to build a classical theory of the electromagnetic field in an inductive way. The course concludes with the formulation of Maxwell's equations and the derivation of their basic consequences.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion, the student will:
- master classical electrodynamics to the extent necessary for understanding the subsequently discussed phenomena;
- know the laws of electromagnetism to apply in monitoring;
- understand the role of electromagnetic phenomena in commonly known situations;
- able to skeptically assess the pressures that appear in an ideologized form. - Syllabus
