Course objectives
Practical exercises are focused on working with measuring systems connected to a computer with control software for measurement and data analysis and with autonomous measuring devices used in current practice for measuring processes in the environmental environment.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to work practically with measuring systems connected to a computer, with control software for measurement and data analysis, and with autonomous measuring devices used in current practice for measuring processes in the environmental environment.
Syllabus
  • 1. Measuring temperature and humidity

  • 2. Measurement of acceleration.

  • 3. Measurement of inclination.

  • 4. Ultrasonic distance measurement.

  • 5. Noise level measurement.

  • 6. Measurement with strain gauges (tensometers).

  • 7. Measurement of light intensity.

  • 8. Remote computer measurements (with network transmission).

  • 9. Measurement of Ph, Cond., O2 in liquids using intelligent ISM sensors.
