- Course is focused on methods of numerical astrophysics and on understanding of basic equations of theoretical astrophysics
- Learning outcomes
- Student will understand equations of astrophysics and will be able to use numerical methods to solve them.

- Numerical methods for solution of differential equations
- Motion around central body, simulation of Solar system
- Analytical solution of simplified problems and its role as test for numerical simulations
- Many body problems
- Hydrostatics and hydrodynamics
- Equation of hydrostatic equilibrium and its numerical solution
- SPH - smoothed particle
- Stellar evolution and its numerical simulation
- Spherical accretion and its numerical simulation
- Radiative processes in astrophysics and their numerical solution
- Gravitational collapse
- Stellar binaries and their evolution
