- Professional Practice I is designed as an introductory observational internship aimed at providing students with a basic orientation in various types of institutions and forms of socio-pedagogical work, in the context of the field of study and the graduate profile. The practice takes the form of short-term observations in several types of facilities, with an emphasis on observing the environment, target groups, core activities of staff, and the functioning of the institution. Students become familiar with the role of the social pedagogue (or social worker) and related professions, the approaches applied, and the forms of cooperation with other experts. The internship is conducted under the guidance of the professional practice guarantor, who provides students with methodological guidance as well as continuous and final feedback on their observations and reflections. The practice includes introductory and concluding seminars that support the development of basic reflective skills and help students connect observed experiences with theoretical concepts. Students will respect the rules of the facility, personal data protection, and professional ethics.
