- Course objectives
- Objectives: The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the terminology of anatomical structures and the structure of organ systems of the human body. Knowledge of anatomy is followed by physiology, which familiarizes students with the functions of individual organs and organ systems.
- Learning outcomes
- Learning outcomes: Professional knowledge: - the student can define anatomical terms such as the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system and their parts - the student can explain the terms - the student can also explain the functions of individual functional systems of the human body Professional skills: - the student can use professional Latin terminology General competencies: - the student is able to navigate professional terminology and use the acquired knowledge in pedagogical practice - the student can estimate anatomical and physiological deviations from normal in special pedagogical diagnostics
- Syllabus
- Content: 1. Functional morphology of tissues. Structure and function of the cell, division, cell death. Types of tissues, structure, function of tissues. Determination of direction, planes, professional description of the human body. Basic Latin terminology Locomotor system, structure and function of bones, skeleton, bone connections, joint, types of movements (extension, flexion, etc.) Blood, hemostasis, ABO, hematopoiesis, composition and function of blood. Body fluids, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid, hydration. Immunity, vaccination, lymphatic system 2. Circulatory system - blood vessels, heart, small and large blood circulation Respiratory system, anatomy and physiology of the respiratory tract, control of breathing Digestive system, description of the organs of the digestive system, their function, location. Liver, pancreas, gallbladder. Nutrition Excretory system, description of the structure and function of the organs of the excretory system. Urine and its composition 3. Male reproductive system – description of the structure and function of the male reproductive system Female reproductive system, reproduction, intrauterine development Nervous system – peripheral nervous system, its description and function, CNS, vegetative nervous system Sensory organs. Sight, hearing, balance system, taste, smell, touch Endocrine system – humoral control of the organism, description of the structure and function of glands with internal secretion
