Course objectives
Objectives: The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the issues of motor skills of the handicapped, sports and physical activities of people with disabilities and its use in the practice of a special educator.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Professional knowledge: - the student knows the basic concepts in the field of motor skills of the disabled Professional skills: - the student can use professional terminology General competencies: - the student is able to navigate professional terminology and use the acquired knowledge in practice
Syllabus
Contents: 1. Introduction to the subject of motor skills of the disabled, specifics of school physical education Strategic documents, history, sports organizations for people with disabilities Modifications of school physical education for students with special educational needs Movement and sports activities of people with physical disabilities 2. Movement and sports activities of people with visual impairments Movement and sports activities of people with hearing impairments Movement and sports activities of people with mental disabilities Paralympic movement Examples of movement activities for people with disabilities
