Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course should present the primary knowledge from the area of theory and practice of economic policy of the state to students. Its aim is to show the substance and basic counterparts of economic policy (macroeconomic and microeconomic) both generally and on examples of practical application in individual countries of central Europe. In the area limited by membership of these countries in European union the peculiarities of implementation of economic policy in individual countries should be illustrated, the positive experience and issues un its implementation should be looked for. The students will learn to analyse the partial steps in economic policy of individual countries.

Teacher's information
Having passed the basics of economy. Active participation in seminars, preparation and presentation of essay on assigned topic regarding application of gained knowledge on economy of central European region. Seminar paper on assigned topic (analysis of economic policy of selected country with focus on specific area of economy) - the aim is to verify the ability to work with gained findings and practical data. The seminars may be lead alternatively in Czech or English language.
