Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course, following the previous study of the language, is to develop further the communicative competence, oral as well as written with special focus on developing the skill to understand read text. The target is also to develop further the overall cultural outline of students by the means of the texts and activities comparing realia of francophone countries with style of our life. The course comprises also development of intellectual, ethical, emotional and esthetical counterpart of the personality of the students which is reached by the use of texts from area of art and literature. In order to develop the strategy of self-study effectively, the teaching is based on primary textbook, workbooks and sound records of selected parts from textbooks and workbooks at the same time each of these parts has its own specific target. The course is intended for Department of Public Administration and Regional Policy students only. Compulsory selection of one of the languages English for PA, German for PA, French for PA. The Department of Public Administration and Regional Policy can be asked to recognize the credit on the base of document (certificate) of exam on corresponding level.
