- Course objectives
- The subject is aimed at mediation of students findings which allow them not only to acquire basic knowledge of the legal system and the most important legislative, including EU laws, but also to shape their abilities to apply this knowledge in practice. Furthermore, this subject introduces students to the legislative and institutional context of the exercise of their future practice. The subject introduces students with the importance of law, legal theory and legal system in the state and in this part deals with basic legal concepts, institutions and systems of law. In the explanation of the legal system is pointed out the public and private plane distinguish, differentiation between procedural modification and the modifications of the substantive law and and sectoral breakdown of the rule of law in relation to the difference between the areas of social relations as covered by the legal industry. The interpretation is determined by the constitutional order of the Czech Republic and harmonization of the Czech law, together with EU law.
