On the completion of the subject, students will be able to orient themselves in Russian in the basic terms of history and politology.

Students are able to find the main ideas of professional text and are able to work with a dictionary.

Students will be able to use their knowledge and skills in the study of professional texts from the field of history and politology.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to make students familiar with the vocabulary in the field of history, politics and politology. The greatest attention will be paid to reading politological texts, translating and practising difficult grammar points. Also, the work with a dictionary will be included. The basic method is working with a specialized text. Another goal of the subject is to prove that politology is interconnected with a number of other fields of social science, mainly philosophy, psychology, sociology, economy and history.
