- Course objectives
- The course is designed in relation to the subject the History of Social Work at the Bachelor's degree. The aim is to apprise students with the religious, philosophical and ethical bases of social care and with the history of social care and social work in the context of social policy. Attention will be paid to basic concepts in history, the genesis and development of social work as a social discipline in the context of modern social policies, and to significant personalities of social care and social work especially in the western world and in the Czech republic.
