Course objectives
The course is focused on acquiring competencies in communication with hearing-impaired clients and enables students to learn the basics of sign language as such an sign Czech in particular. The objective of the present course is to develop knowledge and skills for communication with the hearing impaired, guide students to understanding the client´s psychological needs and finding appropriate an individual approach, as well as to foster sign language acquisition.
