Course objectives
The course provides fundamental findings in the field of general sociologic theory. It is derived from essence of classical as well as modern sociologic thought and deals with description and analysis of social environment, interhuman interaction, human acting, behaviour and communication. The course briefly introduces fundamental sociologic paradigms and directions, it shows society and its system, it deals with social structure and stratification, social dynamics, social formations and groups, mechanicals of social control, social conformity and deviation and also individual and its social status in society, and moreover it considers also social phenomena and relations in a sphere of social work.
