- Course objectives
- Subject content is delimitation of Andragogy in the field of educational sciences and Life-Long-Learning (LLL) concept, and its genesis, special aspects, goals and sub-systems. The aim of the course is to enable students to understand the specific problems of particular andragogy sub-systems, master the legislative, organizational and didactic side of the adult educational process, including the terminology of science aparatus and methods which are used in the exploration of their subject, to understand mutual relationship of goals, conditions and instruments of adult education. Basic andragogy categories and notion.
- Syllabus
- 1. Andragogy in the systems of education sciences. Educology, antropogogy, pedagogy, gerontagogy/geragogy - in the frame of others social sciences and human sciences , their position and mutual relations, process and becoming independent.
2. Andragogy as a science, subject exploration; its importance and challenges in contemporary society; functions of adult education, their genesis and perspectives.
3. Andragogy sub-systems and their thematic orientations, subsidiary and border science of andragogy - professional, cultural and integral andragogy, care, education.
4. Research and science profiles in Andragogy, personalities of science, scientific schools and institutionalization of science .
5. Education as a political component; categorization Life-Long-Learning components; formal, nonformal and informal leasing in the World; international (UNESCO, EU) and national (Czech Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour and Social Affaires) strategic documents.
6. Andragogy didactic apparatus - goals, content, forms, methods, principles, instruments and conditions of adult education and their systematic links.
7. Learners, their motivation to learn; input level, docility.
8. Lecturer and organizer of adult education; professional competences.
9. Adult education genesis in Bohemia lands and over the world.
10. Andragogical companies, international projects (Grundtvig), networks, cooperation.
11. Andragogy in the system of HRM, their relationship to the personnel management, career management, population life style.
