Teaching methods
Before the start of the semester in which the practice is to take place, the practice supervisor will arrange the place of the practice and its conditions. A contract for the placement is concluded in the chosen establishment, in which the rights and obligations of the school and the workplace are addressed, among other things in relation to the handling of confidential data and confidentiality, occupational safety and fire protection. Each student has a supervisor in the organisation of the placement, who is an authorised person in the organisation accompanying and supervising the student on placement. The practice supervisor has excellent contacts with the practice organisation and is familiar with the network of services and facilities. He/she will provide students with a reflective seminar, which will be held at the faculty on a regular weekly basis, supervise their practice in facilities and, as part of individual consultations, offer students the opportunity to solve practice situations in which they did not know what to do, which were unclear or difficult for them to grasp, and together look for possible solutions to the problem. On practice, the student will keep a practice diary, which, in addition to confirmed attendance, will include an evaluation prepared by the facility supervisor and a self-evaluation of the student to make them aware of themselves as a social work tool
Assessment methods
