- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic concepts of public policy aand social policy and other topics related to the novadays social policy in different European countries. The lectures will present an introduction to the public policy, social policy and the development of social policy in different European countries.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will gain professional knowledge of the theories of social policy and they will lear the main aspects of novadays social policy and its development in selected EU countries. Students are able to characterize the evolution of social policy in selected European countries from the point of view of both chronology and content, to describe and explain the main aspects, such as the nature of social policy, the profile of relevant actors of social policy, and their categorization with regard to the specifics of historical development of European countries. Students will be ble to discuss and reflect main apspects of social policy in different EU countries.
