Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the institutional policy of the state, with the developmental stages of social policy and the nature of the welfare state. Students gain theoretical knowledge of the development and application of regional social policy and corporate social strategies. In the final lectures will test their knowledge and skills attained in social planning, development and implementation of research activities in the field of social practice.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Student vysvětlí hlavní historické předpoklady vzniku moderní sociální politiky. Charakterizuje a porovná různé typy sociálního státu podle typologie G. Esping-Andersena. Vysvětlí příčiny vzniku sociálního státu. Popíše počátky moderní sociální politiky a sociálního státu na příkladu vybraných evropských zemí (Německo, Švédsko, Velká Británie). Charakterizuje hlavní rysy a specifika vývoje sociální politiky v Československu a Česku ve 20. století. Identifikuje priority sociální politiky na úrovni EU. Analyzuje možné příčiny krize sociálního státu. Vysvětlí podstatu argumentů kritiků sociálního státu. Analyzuje návrhy možných řešení problémů sociálního státu Charakterizuje komunitní výzkum a jeho specifika. Vysvětlí souvislosti výsledků komunitního výzkumu vzhledem ke komunitnímu plánování. Charakterizuje komunitní plánování sociálních služeb, jeho cíle, fáze, účastníky a přínosy. Analyzuje typické rysy komunitního plánování sociálních služeb na konkrétních příkladech komunitních plánů.
