Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the history and importance of European economic and political integration. The aim of the course is to present primary sources of EU law. To obtain a comprehensive view of European freedom, free movement of goods, services, persons and capital.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)

Student dokáže analyzovat zakládající a pozměňovací smlouvy ES/EU. Student umí definovat a aplikovat princip nadstátnosti (supranacionality) a princip subsidiarity a zhodnotit zrod evropské integrace. Student umí zhodnotit pravomoci Evropské komise, Rady, Evropské rady, Evropského parlamentu či Soudního dvora Evropské unie, jak rovněž uvést jejich složení. Student dokáže analyzovat právo primární a právo sekundární Evropské unie, jak rovněž akty sekundárního práva EU: nařízení, směrnice, rozhodnutí, doporučení a stanoviska. Student je schopen determinovat, co to je řádný legislativní postup a jak funguje. Student dokáže analyzovat institut vynucování unijního práva a institut prejudiciálního řízení. Student umí zhodnotit vnitřní trh EU a čtyři základní svobody tohoto trhu (volný pohyb zboží, osob, služeb a kapitálu). Student dokáže analyzovat ochrannou známku EU, primární a sekundární svobodu usazování a podstatné rozdíly mezi volným pohybem služeb a svobodou usazování. Student je schopen diskutovat o pracovním právu v EU a o sociálním zabezpečení v EU. Student je schopen zhodnotit cíle a zásady politiky ochrany životního prostředí v EU, dokáže analyzovat ekoznačku EU. Student dokáže analyzovat problematiku zneužívání dominantního postavení na vnitřním trhu v EU či státní podpory neslučitelné s vnitřním trhem v EU. Dále je student schopen determinovat podstatné informace týkající se ochrany bezpečnosti a zdraví spotřebitele v EU, jakou ochranu mají spotřebitelé v případě smluv uzavřených na dálku a smluv uzavřených mimo obchodní prostory a co to jsou nepřiměřené podmínky ve spotřebitelských smlouvách v EU.
