Course objectives
The course, by the form of specific pre-calculations and considerations, sets a task to answer the questions of the operation of the traditional economic system of the organization in the entrepreneurial environment along with providing students with specimen of situations, which have taken place in the business practice or they might come across in the future. The entrepreneurial environment is one of the crucial factors, which the management of the enterprise has to take into consideration during the managerial decision making processes. By means of illustrative examples, questions and tasks, known methods and techniques of influencing the prosperity of the enterprise will be presented. We assume that solving examples and case studies will take place in teams, or in team discussions for possible variants of solutions. 1. Launching a business 2. Management of the family firm, its specifications in managing and profiling 3. The significance of the situation analysis and SWOT analysis 4. Fundamental economic categories for entrepreneurship 5. Production management, scheduling 6. The formulation of functional dependences in the consumption of the basic agents of production 7. The formation of the calculation systems in the enterprise 8. Decision making in the area of the product and assortment structure of the enterprise 9. Management of property of the enterprise and its appreciation 10. The importance of HR work and its contents 11. Risks in entrepreneurship 12. The importance of crisis management and its procedures
