- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen and specify knowledge about monetary theory and monetary policy. The course covers topics as money demand and supply, theory of interest rates, tools of monetary policy, monetary transmission mechanism, and monetary policy in macroeconomic models. The course focuses on monetary policy in the Czech Republic, the process of European monetary integration and The European Central Bank´s policy.
