A student can enrol 6th part of the course if he passes 5th part or he is studying both parts at the same time.

- Course objectives
- Course objectives: Level B 2.2 upper-intermediate (professional language) The aim of the course is to strengthen and enlarge vocabulary with tourism terminology, the active use of grammatical structures, translation of the clauses on given topics using vocabulary and grammatical structures, practising and developing skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in tourism based on authentic written materials and recordings on the level B2 (upper - intermediate). The emphasis is put on the ability to recognize essential information from listening - dates, time, instructions, prohibitions and commands, to be flexible in conversations dealing with ticket orders, solving complains and other difficult situations and efficient written communication. The emphasis is put on the language preparation of tourist guides, a tourist agency managers and tour operators with the abilities in marketing and promotion with conscious language usage suitable for given situations and solving problems in the foreign language.

1. Travel by Road and Rail
Transport by road and rail. Information from time tables, transport terminology. Language of comparison, contrast and reinforcement.
2. Independent Travellers
Car hire arrangements, documents, insurance. Problem solving, giving advice, suggestions, sending faxes.
3. Tickets, Reservations and Insurance
Giving information on accommodation, facilities, air tickets and transport tickets. Calculating prices. Travel documents. Information on air tickets and accommodation on the Internet.
4. Travel Agency Documents
Arranging travel documents. Ensuring air tickets and transport tickets, accommodation, making reservations, insurance, filling forms. Writing letters faxes. Describing the events in the past. Checking and clarifying information.
5. Tourist Information
Vocabulary from promotion attractive places of tourism, by preparing leaflets, brochures. Tourism. Giving advice, suggestions. Types of accommodation and services.
6. Preparation of the Travel Agent
Recommendation of places of attraction and types of holidays. Meeting customer needs. Regional information on the CR. Giving factual information, measurements and dimensions. Making telephone calls and taking messages.
7. Guiding
Working as a guide. Communicative skills in guiding, the role of a guide. Skills of telephone communication, solving problems, requests and responses.
8. Guiding Services
The role of the guide. Negotiations, dealing with complaints, customs and travel documents. Guide commentaries. Comparing the adjectives, usage of tense. In active and passive forms.
9. Promotion and Marketing in Tourism
Marketing strategy in tourism. Promotion of sale. Types of advertising and promotion. Describing features. Connotations.
10. Planning, Advertising and Offers of Services
Holiday types and market segments. Preparation of conferences. Promotion of the region on the Internet. Web sites of tourist attractive places. Planning the promotional campaign. Language of evaluation..
11. Developments in Tourism
Trends and future of tourism. Globalization. Predicting future trends in tourism... Advantages and disadvantage of tourism. Impact on the environment.. Language of future predictions

- Teacher's information
- Requirements:
The course is completed by a course-credit through an ongoing written or oral tests and a final credit test. Students have the possibility to gain up to 100 points as maximum, whereas to gain the course-credit they must achieve at least 60 points. Students who repeat this part of the language do not have the obligation of 60% attendance.
