Course objectives
The goal of the course is to prepare students for successful entering international labour market by means of developing their intercultural, sociolinguistic, communication, and linguistic competences. Special emphasis will be on the development of students´ critical awareness and the ability to evaluate phenomena according to criteria accepted in their own culture as well as in others. This approach is based on an analytical attitude to culture phenomena, their context, culture values, and also a potential conflict between cultures. Students will be led to empathy and acceptance of different systems of culture values, tolerance, and to the capacity to get involved in international business interaction.
