- Course objectives
- Course objectives: The aim of the first year is to achieve the B1 level with the students. Communication skills in a foreign language are oriented on the common professional situations, as well as the ability to be well informed about the language in a wide range of issues of the daily professional reality. All four types of skills are developed comprehensively - speaking, reading, listening and writing. Emphasis is placed on active speaking, the language readiness and the ability to express oneself fluently in a foreign language environment. It systematically leads to obtain international certificates at B1a and to prepare for the next international tests.

- Student requirements: participation and discussion in seminars, continuous tests.
Assessment methods: compulsory participation in seminars 60%, discussion in seminars, continuous oral test (20% of evaluation), continuous written test (20% of evaluation), final credit test (60% of evaluation). - Syllabus
