Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and skills sufficient to deal with basic situations in the sphere of general and partly professional language at the A1/A2 level. The course shapes the foreign language habits of the students so that after completing it they will be able to understand common social expressions and apply them independently. They can understand and react in common situations focused mainly on introductions, basic greetings, travel, airport check-in, hotel accommodation, writing emails, making phone calls, etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, I will be able to describe common, recurring activities. I will be able to talk about events in the past. I will be able to verify information related to travel. I will know the rules for writing emails. I will consolidate my vocabulary for shopping, including phrases related to this topic. I will be able to order food and drinks.
