- Course objectives
- Course objectives: Level - A 2.1 pre-intermediate The course aims at acquiring basic knowledge and skills sufficient to solve common situations in the sphere of the general language. Foreign language habits of students are formed in such way that after passing the course the students will be able to understand common phrases of social intercourse, to apply them and to make themselves understood in case that the speaker speaks distinctly and slowly and to react in everyday situations. The part of the course is to train strategies in the lexical-grammatical sphere, understanding of the read text, writing, listening with comprehension and spoken speech with emphasis on intercultural competence.

- Requirements on the student:
The course is finished by the course-credit which the students obtain based on the ongoing written test or oral test and after the final credit test. In the course of the semester the students have the possibility to gain up to 100 points as maximum, whereas to gain the course-credit they must achieve at least 60 points. Students who repeat this part of the language do not have the obligation of 60% attendance.
