Course objectives

The aim of the subject is to learn students the organization of individual components of the Integrated Rescue System and the methodology of deployment of these units in distress and emergency situations. Students will also acquire basic theoretical knowledge and some practical skills and habits focused on the tasks and measures of individual and collective protection of the population before and during the occurrence of extraordinary events.

  7. History and present of civil protection in the Czech Republic and its legislative security
  8. The concept of civil protection by 2020 with a view to 2030
  9. Coordination of the Integrated Rescue System components and tasks in the area of civil protection
  10. Warning, notification and emergency information of the population
  11. Evacuation, hiding and survival of the population
  12. Protection of the population in case of extraordinary events
  13. Individual and collective protection
  14. Detection, identification of pollutants, decontamination
