- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the possibilities of using pyrotechnics in various crisis situations.
- Syllabus
- 1. Fundamentals of the explosion, explosives and oxygen balance, the appropriateness of military and industrial explosives for use in disaster.
2. Using explosives to extinguish fires (ground and aerial).
3. The use of blasting techniques and the release of ice jams on waterways.
4. The use of blasting techniques in creating a fire bands.
5. The use of blasting techniques in the release of snow avalanches.
6. The use of special ammunition in crisis situations (tranquilizer shots to sleep animals etc.).
