- Course objectives
- Students gain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in climbing. They complete practical and theoretical training in climbing on artificial walls and rocks in the range to handle up and down on a training rock accompanied by a leader. Students will also be able to climb to the top rope separately on an artificial wall without an instructor and leader.
- Syllabus
- Theoretical training safety on the rocks and the wall.
Mountaineering equipment and accessories and its use, climbing routes and signage.
Practical training.
The basic climbing knots.
Mutual control and communication between climbers.
Belay and rappel techniques protection.
Safe habits ? use locking brakes.
Building abseil station.
Practical outputs on a climbing wall.
Practical outputs on a rock at the other end of the rope.
Rappelling.
