Moravskoslezský kraj v realitě jeho měst a obcí disponuje ucelenou strategií chytrých řešení o zavádění chytrých technologií v regionu, která byla oceněna označením Chytrý region 2017. Článek se zabývá propagací agendy chytrých měst ve vybraných mediích, jak v obecné rovině, tak v regionálním zpravodajském kontextu za rok 2017. Na základě provedené analýzy dokumentů (MF Dnes a Právo) poukazuje na profil předávaných témat v zavádění opatření chytrých měst a nastiňuje možné rezervy v informovanosti obyvatel (cílové skupiny čtenářů tisku a jejich sítích), která ovlivňuje porozumění a přijímání postupu e-govermentu. Článek vznikl na základě realizace projektu s názvem „Postoje obyvatel Moravskoslezského kraje na využití internetu věcí za účelem rozvoje koncepce chytrých měst“, registrační číslo projektu TL01000015, který je řešen z finanční podpory TA ČR.

The Moravian-Silesian region has a comprehensive strategy of clever solutions for the introduction of clever technologies in the region, which has been awarded the Smart region 2017. The article deals with the promotion of the smart cities agenda in selected media, both in general and in the regional news context 2017. Based on the analysis of the documents (MF Dnes and Právo), it highlights the profile of the topics presented in the introduction of smart city measures and outlines the possible population-aware provision (the target group of press readers and their networks) that affects the understanding and adoption of eGovernment. The article was based on the implementation of the project entitled "Attitudes of the population of the Moravian-Silesian Region to on the use of the Internet of Things in order to develop the concept of Smart Cities", the registration number of the project TL01000015, which is solved by TA CR financial support.
