Abstract
Abstract (in English)
The paper deals with immovable property taxation in the Czech Republic. After a critical literature search of relevant sources, the research was carried out via survey. 839 questionnaires were included into processing. Primary research assesses how taxpayers of immovable property taxes perceive this local tax. The survey data were evaluated using Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric test in SPSS Statistics. Based on the empirical survey it was found, that an average tax amount was the highest for those respondents who perceived tax burden as high. Most of the respondents also knew how the collected funds were used and which concrete projects were implemented in the municipality.
